2022 League Update
Gentlemen... start your golf carts!
Here is an update to the 2022 men's golf league season:
We have maxed out with 28 teams that have committed to the league for the 2022 golf season. However, we do have a wait list so if for any reason that a team defaults on their commitment to the coming season, we have teams waiting to get in.
We will be having a captain's meeting at Silver Creek Golf Course on Thursday, April 14th at 7pm. Please have a representative at this meeting as we will have valuable information to share.
Additionally at this meeting we would like to receive ALL teams' league entry fee of $300. Please bring cash, cheque and/or we will be able to do etransfers at this time as well. As we run independently of the Silver Creek Golf Course, the administration of the course would rather have us coordinators be responsibile for our own administration. Therefore, the course will not be accepting league fees this season so please make arrangements for payment to either Terry Williston or Dana Boissoneau. Miigwetch for all of your understanding with this financial request. Please make cheques out to : " Silver Creek Men's Golf League ".
TENTATIVELY and key word is tentatively, the season will begin on May 18th. This date is all in retrospect of the weather. In seasons past we had the fortunate ability to begin early; however, with this coming season everything will be extremely wet and the start date is not currently confirmed but we are shooting for May 18th. Additionally, we have committments by the course to hold our league striclty on Wednesday evenings.
Please have a representative at the April 14th meeting, please bring your $300 team fees and lets hope for a May 18th start date. See many of you on April 14th.
