Important Notes:

Shot gun start time is at 5:15pm SHARP! Please be early to be ready to begin at this designated start time (IE: heading to your starting hole @ 5:00pm at the latest!!! Not showing up at 5pm).

RECOMMENDATION ONLY regarding match play: Even Averages, play head-to-head and then the remaining players play versus least number of strokes given. However, it is the final discretion on each team who will play one another.

Please keep your scorecards and sheets neat and complete with all of players’ information and properly filled out. Please include the players’ first and last names.

Score sheets must be agreed upon and signed by both teams (any scoring disagreements and or discrepancies must be settled prior to handing sheets into coordinators. Best to have these discrepancies handled on the course when or prior to the occurrence).

League weekly Round green fees: $28/week. Course members do not require this fee; however, EACH participant must register with the course upon arrival for each round played. Additionally, for those that participate in an early round, this total fee will be $48, and the full amount must be paid at check in time. If you are not planning to golf in the league night, then you will be considered a walk on and be charged full course prices.

Please be familiar with your divisional name and unique colour coded $5 special’s sign-up sheet.

New world golf rules are in affect.

OPTION: YOUTH aged 16 and under and SENIORS age 60+, gives the league member the OPTION (not a rule) to utilize the forward tee (White). We still encourage ALL players to utilize the BLUE tee box.

Players 17+ MUST utilize the BLUE TEEs.

During regular season play, teams MAY utilize players from the weekly spare list. We do recommend that ALL team members participate in the weekly round to limit the need to utilize the spare list. It is the team’s responsibility to arrive early enough if the need arises, to utilize the spare list to sign up as a spare player or a team in need. It is not the coordinators’ responsibility to do this work for your team or player.

Each team can ONLY utilize those players registered to your team and each player MUST have a minimum 3 full rounds of play to qualify for the playoffs. (There will be free agents if you are a team in need of an additional player for the season and/or playoffs. Please seek these free agents out early in the season)

As of 2022 the course has implemented additional check in controls unrelated to the league.

Rain situation: please have your team prepared to golf every week. Course management will have final say. The earliest for any decision regarding cancelation will be 4:30pm. If rainout is called, week will be lost and not rescheduled.

Top 8 teams in each division will be placed into “A” Division Playoff Division.

The remainder teams will be placed into “B” Division.

The Divisions will be placed into their own 4 team pool and have round robin play. Pool winners will be moved to semi-finals. Exception with “B” Division as a wild card team will move on to the semi-finals.

The following rounds will be elimination play.

This playoff system will be like the 2022 season.

We still encourage spare players to come out and participate during the playoffs.

As of 2022, players’ averages will be adjusted into the playoff rounds.

Please be extra considerate with your speed of play, as time and sunlight will be a concern as the season progresses. Please be respectful of every player’s skill levels.

Please be respectful and please assist all the new teams and players with rules, guidelines, scoring, carts, check in, specials, spare list, etc.

The Silver Creek Wednesday Men’s League is operated independently from the golf course itself. Please contact the coordinators for all financial transactions.

We would like to wish everyone a respectful, fun, and enjoyable season.
