PLAYOFFS
Aaniin everyone:
This season was one for excitement and new benchmarks. The most teams (28) on one night and for players (192) that participated at least once. Give yourselves all a big golf clap.
The seaon has concluded and now we are off to the playoffs.
Due to scheduling logisitics, as we lost those extra Mondays from last year, playoffs had to be altered. Rather than every team guaranteed 2 games, as years past, this year with the Round Robin format, every team will be guaranteed 3 playoff matches. Another alteration, we had to create 2 divisions with the top 8 seeded teams from each division during the regular season will be placed in the top division to battle for the "A" CHAMPIONSHIPS, and the remaining 12 teams will battle for "B" CHAMPIONSHIPS.
In "A" the top team from each division will move on to the semi-finals, while in "B" the top teams from the 3 divisions as well as a Wild Card team to fill out the semi-finals. Everything will be based on team points to decide the top teams. Please keep scoring consistant with the regular season. We will also be adjusting Individual Averages as we continue along in the playoffs. Please keep the score cards clean and tidy.
Also an unexpected factor occured at the conclusion of the reglar season.
As years past, the spares list will not be in play for the playoffs, thus the only players that may be utilized for the playoffs are those that are registered to your team rosters, even if played only 1 match, there will be
NO further additions permitted.

REMEMBER:
Upon the conclusion of the Championship round, there is our banquet night and every team has 4 meals paid with your entry fees.
Thus, if additional players from your teams will be participating, fees for those extra players will be needed to be prepaid.
